RCC has assembled an interactive chart of sick leave and vaccination guidelines for employers who are reopening or continuing to open during 新型冠状病毒肺炎.

预期结束日期:TBA		每剂疫苗3小时强制性的Full-time and part-time employees are entitled to three hours of paid leave to get each dose of the 新型冠状病毒肺炎 vaccine. 不需要医疗证明, although employers are entitled to ask employees for evidence of their appointment. Employees are eligible only for their own vaccination.

New and part-time employees would be paid in accordance with a formula in the legislation. Employees are also entitled to (job-protected) unpaid leave for the vaccination of a member of the employee’s immediate family or other people described within the 就业标准法.

结束日期:2021年12月31日*		3天强制性的Applies only to 新型冠状病毒肺炎-related circumstances specified in section 52.12的 就业标准法. Employees who have existing employer-paid sick leave benefits must first access those benefits before accessing these 3 specific paid sick days. New and part-time employees are to be paid by a formula within the legislation. Please note that employees are entitled to unpaid, job-protected, 新型冠状病毒肺炎 leave for any time in excess of paid sick days.

政府宣布了还款计划 for employers who did not previously provide any employees with any paid sick leave and are registered with WorkSafeBC.

*BC’s new paid sick day program begins January 1, 2022

预计结束日期:2021年9月25日		$600 per full- and part-time employee for a maximum of five days.自愿的Eligibility includes employees within employers not currently eligible for sick leave (e.g. 兼职人员), as well as workers who receive fewer than five days, 谁可以为差额负责.

The program supports sick leave related to 新型冠状病毒肺炎 including testing, 疫苗和副作用, 因新型冠状病毒肺炎症状而进行自我隔离, or care for a loved one in any of these circumstances.

Maximum of $640/worker over a 12-week period. 自愿的For employees who are not provided paid sick time benefits by their employer, that cannot work remotely and miss less than 50% of their scheduled work time in a one-week period due to 新型冠状病毒肺炎. Employees who have exhausted their employer-provided paid sick time benefits cannot benefit from this program.

预计结束日期:2021年9月25日		Employees who don't have a program providing at least 3 paid days are topped up to 3 paid days. Employers are reimbursed up to $200 per day.强制性的Employees who have exhausted their employer-provided paid sick time benefits as of April 19 can benefit from this program. No note is required to be eligible to the paid leave.

Expected End Date: End of Public 健康 Emergency		Up to maximum of $20 per hour or $160 per day. 自愿的For employees who are not provided paid sick time benefits by their employer, who cannot work remotely and miss less than 50% of their scheduled work time in a one-week period due to illness, 新型冠状病毒肺炎和/或需要自我隔离. Capped at a maximum of 3天' wages per week. Employers can access up to 2 one-week periods per employee for a maximum of 6 days per employee. Employees who have exhausted their employer provided paid sick time benefits cannot benefit from this program.

预期结束日期:TBA		3个小时强制性的Employees are entitled to three consecutive hours leave during work hours to receive a 新型冠状病毒肺炎 vaccination. Workers are entitled to more than three consecutive hours if the employer determines the circumstances warrant a longer break from work.
